National Youth Week 2017
National Youth Week celebrates the contribution young people make our communities. It is a great opportunity for young people to get involved in planning and delivering a project, activity or event in their local community.
The Labor Government is encouraging community organisations, local councils and schools to apply for the one-off grants to help them celebrate young people’s involvement in their community.
Organisations can apply for grants of up to $2000 to support their National Youth Week activities.
The grants can be used for young people to hold events and undertake projects, such as art shows, http://ropewalkfenwick.com/antibiotics/ music concerts, cultural days, sporting events or forums, which showcase their achievements and their involvement in their communities.
National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration of young people aged 12 to 25 years, allowing them to express their creativity and have their say about issues important to them.
Established in 2000, National Youth Week is jointly funded by the Victorian and Australian Governments.
Applications close on Friday 11 November 2016. To view the 2017 Grant Guidelines and application form, click here.
